This website was originally developed to help myself and friends of mine who work with the public, professionally and as volunteers, find the resources they need in one quick, easy place that could
be accessed at anytime, day or night, in the privacy of their home or office.
Metro Detroit has a tremendous amount of agencies and organizations to help its citizens. But with financial cutbacks due to the poor economy, its very difficult for these agencies & organizations to justify spending precious dollars for advertising that could instead be put to good use helping the clients who seek them out. "Julie's List" helps those agencies get the word out. This was not the original intent of the site but it was a nice little "extra"!
