CHRISTMAS RESOURCES
NOTE:
In the past, the programs were listed with the date they would open to applications, but we had
some people abusing this procedure by calling organizations long before the application period
was open.

This would cause a great deal of frustration to the organizations, so this page has now changed! Organizations will now be listed ONLY after they have opened their application procedure so that this can no longer be abused.

Please pay attention to the QUALIFICATIONS of each program!  You should NOT be contacting organizations who clearly say they are ONLY for those in certain areas if you do NOT live in
those areas. NO, they are NOT going to change their qualifications just for you....because you
are not going to be only one who tries that!

These organizations are run by VOLUNTEERS so please be nice to them!
And please GIVE BACK as you are able in the future!

NATIONWIDE PROGRAMS

Friendship House tries to take some of the burden off our client’s shoulders by providing a
Santa Toy Shop every year. Right before Christmas, we set up our facility’s lobby with toys
donated to us by generous benefactors to look like a Christmas Toy Shop. We allow our
clients with children to “come shop” for toys that are appropriate for their children’s age &
size. Everything from books to bikes, dolls, trucks, games, sports equipment & digital devices,
we seem to have it all and our clients are so grateful for the help! You need to register as a client
and receive your client card to take advantage of their programs.

The mission of the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program is to collect new, unwrapped toys during October, November and December each year, and distribute those toys as Christmas gifts to needy children in the community in which the campaign is conducted.
We are accepting applications, we receive many calls, we are trying to fill what we have received application for, so please be patient. The application process ends on November
unless there is an emergency need, due to house fire, or eviction and staying in a hotel.
